You mustard microgreen seedlings grow uniformly with some of the stems donning a slight purple hue among the deep green of the cotyledons.

Yellow mustard seeds are suitable to grow on soil and hydroponic mediums--including terra cotta! Yellow mustard's flavor is much milder than other mustard microgreen seed varieties with a strong brassica flavor with only a spectre of the spice present in other brassicas, such as wasabi mustard and arugula. You can grow yellow mustard microgreens beyond the 7-days stage and allow them to develop into baby greens.
